New CD comin! I'm working on a Cd of cuts from all the bands I work with. The big CD release party with all the bands will be at Don Quixote's in Felton, Saturday August 18th at 8pm! playin' and listenin' to different styles of harmonica for about
30 yrs. now, Man, it doesn’t seem like I am that old to me.
Living in Santa Cruz and loving music has been a great hub to meet
many of my heroes on harmonica, including: Toots Thielemans, Norton
Buffalo, Rod Piazza, Lee Oskar, Charlie Musselwhite, and Tom Ball.
I’ve also got to sit in and play with many of my favorite musicians
notably of K-Pig Radio Fame, including: Robert Earl Keen, Todd Snider,
and Paul Thorn. But most of all I enjoy playing with two groups of
guys, The Primadons, and the Larry
Hosford Band (click
here). I do enjoy sitting in with Santa Cruz local bands
whenever I get the chance, be they The Harmony Grits, or The Devil
Makes Three, Stormin' Norman and the Cyclones, or Extra Large. Check
